WEB Seach: VAST is a user friendly and powerful search tool which will enhance the efficiency of your searches, on the Internet, on your PC and on a local network and is completely integrated with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6/7. 
You can design custom made searchforms - not a '"one-liner" like all the other tools offer - with fields and lookup lists for every searchengine you want.
Optionally you can save your searches and reload them with just one mouseclick.

GDS
The Google Desktop Search engine is supported as well. The results can be viewed in a Browser, in a Table which can be sorted, grouped and filtered or in an Explorer with thumbnailview. The results in the Table and Explorer can be operated upon using the Windows context menu (i.e. to copy/move, mail or print the listed files, maximum = 5000 files). The results of multiple searches can be added into one list. You can generate a playlist for your favorite mediaplayer as well based on the selected files in the result. Finally the results can be exported to CSV, Excel, HTML or XML.

RSS Suite
Also included is a suite of tools to manage your own list of RSS News Channels. You can execute searches against various engines (i.e. E-Bay) and newsgroups (i.e. Google News) generating RSS feeds as a result. MSIE 7.0 users will benefit even more since the two panel mode will allow you to browse through the generated Feed in one panel and display the details in the other.

MSWord Spellchecker
When you have MS Word installed on your system you can use it to check your spelling in every input textfield on the Internet. Use it in Webmail, Orderforms or Weblogs to name just a few examples.

New Technology: Copy files using file properties. Distribute files (i.e. MP3´s) to calculated sub-folders based on file properties like ..\Artist\Album\ using very advanced, yet very easy to use Copy/Move Queries. Or distribute your MS Word documents created today, but not yet printed today to ..\Weekno\Author\Company with just one click using advanced filters.

History
FolderViewer is not the umpteenth Windows Explorer replacement, it is a completely new way of organizing your files. Originally developed for law firms to support the secretarial staff and lawyers to keep track of time-spent on documents per client and author.

Theory behind FolderViewer
FolderViewer is all about collaborative computing (See Collaborative Computing; by James Callan 1997); it collaborates with MS Explorer, the Windows Namespace, the MS Internet Explorer, Google Desktop Search and last but not least you, the user.

Features Description
Use the Multi Rename Tool to rename files on the fly using the file properties in the new filename, correcting case properties as well.
The Folder content or search results can be saved or exported to CSV, Excel, XML or HTML files for example to publish your MS Word documents to a local Intranet.
(Un)Pack files and send them using your default mail client, complete with an attached report of all the included files and their properties.
Multi process and convert images to different formats with just a few mouse clicks.
It will help you to list, print, (un)pack, rename, search, distribute and convert and edit files and images. The files are presented on screen according to different Views. There are already 50 different Views implemented in the program, but you can design as many as you want and save them to disc. All nearly 110 file properties (i.e. Author) and derived properties (i.e. Week number) can be used to Group, Filter, Sort or Search on.
Create new folders using the New Folder Wizard based on (company) rules. Rename tags of MP3 files using the MP3 Batch processing tool. Organize your photos using the FolderCommander (press F12) tool which displays your image files in two panels using details or thumbnails.
You can print file lists, edit, preview and organize all kind of files like: MS Office documents, Media files and Photo's:
Using the EXIF/IPTC batch editor, IPTC-data to XML converter, syntax based File Editor, HexEditor, MP3 player, MP3-tag editor, Slideshow-, and Image Editor (where you can add sounds and annotations to images to use in a Slideshow).
Finally, after installing FolderViewer a MS Explorer add-in is also installed on your computer. This tool offers you Folder content, Tree-structure and Contact Sheet printing functionality from within the MS Explorer.

The different sections of the program are easy to reach using one of the six tabs on the mainform. Each section will be explained in details in the Helpfile.

Browser PA supports all MSIE based browsers. You can set the Browser or Browser TAB (when you use i.e. Avant-Browser or MyIE2) to be used as output by selecting it from the combobox on the third row on  the mainform. When Browser PA is first started your default Browser will be started as well.
